Electricity and Natural Gas

Here in B.C., we have some of the lowest electricity rates in North America, with the majority supplied by hydropower. Like many communities in B.C., our region’s electricity needs are met by BC Hydro. We also have the largest solar project in the province, and Canada’s largest solar tracking facility, which sells electricity to the grid. Our region’s natural gas provider is FortisBC.

Telecommunications

When it comes to communication, there’s no need to compromise on speed. Cranbrook and Kimberley are Telus fibre-optic gigabit communities and they both offer high-speed internet provided by Shaw Cable. Our region also has excellent cell coverage provided by Telus, Rogers and Bell. Our telecommunications infrastructure are suitable for any needs your business may have.
