New business in Cranbrook: Fibrenew East Kootenays
Larry and Anita Iler are the proud owners of Fibrenew East Kootenays, a new business in Cranbrook that makes damaged upholstery look brand new.
Fibrenew specializes in the repair, restoration and renewal of leather, plastics, vinyl, fabric and upholstery servicing six major markets: automotive, aviation, commercial, medical, marine and residential. Utilizing Fibrenew’s services offers an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to replacement. Fibrenew has been around since 1987, and has about 250 franchises in five different countries.
“We chose the Fibrenew business to be able to work with our hands and have the opportunity to meet new people throughout the East Kootenays,” said Larry.
Larry, who handles sales and operates the mobile service of the business, brings 30 years of experience as a partsman in the automotive sector to the position. Anita works in the shop and does bookkeeping along with other administrative work.
