  • From 2010 to 2015, Kimberley lowered its Municipal Property Tax Gap by 6.6% (Total Average Property Tax for Kimberley is $7,178). From 2010 to 2015, Cranbrook lowered its Municipal Property Tax Gap by 15.5% (Total Average Property Tax for Cranbrook is $6,743.)

College of the Rockies (COTR) is an award-winning institution that offers programs in trades, recreation, tourism, business, computer science, health and university studies to over 10,000 students. The main campus, located in Cranbrook, is where most of the administrative and student services are housed. The Gold Creek campus, which is only a stone’s throw from city limits, is where you’ll find many of COTR’s trade programs. Kimberley’s regional COTR campus offers a variety of day, evening and weekend programs and special interest training, such as mountain hospitality.
